- Acquired 100% of GenInvest portfolio, including 1,650 central London properties. Major appointments included the provision of G-RAMP, our asset management platform, to Lloyds Banking Group, and as preferred developer for the Aldershot Urban Extension.
- 2009
- We now own or have an interest in 24,414 properties in the UK and Germany and are property managers for approximately 24,650 properties.
- 2008
- Successful tender offer for Francono Rhein-Main AG for €41.4m created critical mass in Germany.
- 2007
- Highly successful capital raising activity for G:res1, the UK's largest, market-rented residential investment fund.
- 2001-03
- The next major expansion, with the acquisition of Bradford Property Trust plc (BPT), created the largest quoted residential property portfolio in the UK.
- 1989
- Grainger acquired Channel Hotels and Properties which owned over 700 London flats and resulted in its first London office.
- 1985
- Entered land development with the acquisition of 350 acres of land between Basingstoke and the M3. Grainger subsequently achieved planning consent, established the infrastructure and then sold the land to housebuilders.
- 1983
- Floated on the London Stock Exchange with gross assets of £18m.
- 1912
- Grainger established in Newcastle to acquire and manage tenanted residential properties.
