Acquired 100% of GenInvest portfolio, including 1,650 central London properties. Major appointments included the provision of G-RAMP, our asset management platform, to Lloyds Banking Group, and as preferred developer for the Aldershot Urban Extension.

The next major expansion, with the acquisition of Bradford Property Trust plc (BPT), created the largest quoted residential property portfolio in the UK.
1989
Grainger acquired Channel Hotels and Properties which owned over 700 London flats and resulted in its first London office.
1985
Entered land development with the acquisition of 350 acres of land between Basingstoke and the M3. Grainger subsequently achieved planning consent, established the infrastructure and then sold the land to housebuilders.
1983
Floated on the London Stock Exchange with gross assets of £18m.
1912
Grainger established in Newcastle to acquire and manage tenanted residential properties.
