

Continental Europe:
Continental Europe presents an opportunity for Grainger to replicate our business model in markets that are generally in the process of deregulation and are behind the UK in terms of levels of home ownership.
There are major stocks of reversionary properties in Western Europe, where home ownership is increasing. We have acquired several portfolios in Germany and we continue to evaluate further opportunities to acquire and manage property portfolios in Germany and other countries.
In Central Europe, we are looking to invest in residential development land, alongside local operating partners. The opportunity here is to re-house the large number of people looking for higher quality housing as purchasing power converges with Western European levels. This year we have acquired interests in Prague and Tallin, Estonia.
