A chartered surveyor, Rupert spent 5 years in commercial property at Richard Ellis (now CBRE) before joining Grainger in 1992. He became a Director in 1994 and Chief Executive in 2002.

Andrew qualified as an accountant with Deloitte Haskins & Sells, becoming a Partner in 1989 with responsibility for a broad range of audit clients. He joined Grainger as Finance Director in 1996, becoming Deputy Chief Executive in 2002.

A chartered accountant, Marie joined BPT Limited as finance director in 2002. When BPT became wholly owned by Grainger in 2003, she assumed operational responsibility for our Finance and IT Departments. Her other responsibilities include corporate governance and regulatory compliance, CSR and closure of corporate transactions.

A chartered surveyor, Mark joined Grainger in 1988 from Scottish & Newcastle Breweries. Mark manages Grainger's property services division nationwide which includes property management and sales and valuations. He is also responsible for directing strategy, structure, policies, procedures and budgets in this division.

Peter joined Grainger in 2005, previously managing director of the largest home reversion provider (AMP Retirement Services) and latterly an independent consultant specialising in advising equity release providers. Peter is leading our equity release growth plans and responsible for the transfer of AMP's home reversion portfolio to Grainger. He is also Managing Director of our Bridgewater Equity Release subsidiary.

Quinton joined Grainger in 2005 from ABN AMRO, where he was an Assistant Director of Real Estate Investment Banking and advised us on the Norwich Union home reversions joint venture. He is responsible for developing strategic growth initiatives through mergers and acquisitions, property fund creation and joint ventures.

Debra assumed the position of managing director of corporate affairs in July 2007 having been with Grainger since 1998. Debra was previously responsible for our property management and asset management teams in the South of England, directing strategy policy procedures and also as fund manager to Schroders Residential Investment Fund. Before joining Grainger, Debra was head of management at WA Ellis.

Andrew joined Grainger in March 2006 as director of projects. He took over the position of managing director of development in July 2007 and is now in charge of a nationwide development team. Andrew is a Chartered Civil Engineer by background and spent over seven years as head of project management at MEPC and more latterly Multiplex Developments (UK) Ltd.

Andrew joined Grainger in June 2007 from Teesland where he was instrumental in setting up the Oystercatcher Residential Fund and the University Capital Trust fund an offshore unit trust investing in student accommodation. His position at Grainger focuses on identifying new areas for investment and driving performance from current assets and portfolios, whether they are wholly owned, owned in joint venture or held within fund structures where Grainger is retained as fund manager.
